The United States awakens to the African scene.

By Sameh Selim- Member of United States Press Agency

African people dream of security and stability and try to achieve the dream, but they always fail in some countries

and succeed in other countries. The most dangerous regions in the African continent are the Nile Basin and the Horn of Africa. Some countries in this region enjoy political and economic stability, such as Rwanda, Kenya, Djibouti, and Uganda. As for the rest of the countries, they almost lack security and stability due to ethnic and tribal differences, civil wars, endemic diseases, economic and technological needs, or the greed of some major countries for their wealth. This region is considered one of the richest regions in the world, and its people are among the poorest people in the world.

The beginning comes from Egypt, which moved towards its African depth in the Horn of Africa and the Nile Basin, despite the lack of economic capabilities available to achieve the dreams of the peoples of this region.

Despite Egypt's strong presence in the African scene now, the American presence has become inevitable in this region, which we have often alluded to in previous articles. The absence of the United States as a superpower from the African scene seems ridiculous because the inevitable presence alongside Egypt and Turkey gives the United States greater strategic and economic power to get out of its current economic crisis and to create a political and military balance in this volatile region in front of Russia and China. This does not mean hostility and stirring up unrest, but rather, the mere presence is important to preserve American interests in the region. This region is, of course, the most important because of its wealth. The Horn of Africa overlooks the most important trade routes in the world: the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Red Sea, and the Suez Canal. Ukraine, Taiwan, and North Korea are not the most important, but rather, this region is the most important and best for American interests in terms of economic, commercial, and strategic factors.
