Overpopulation tsunami devouring development
Written by Mr. Sameh Selim- Member of United States Press Agency
The Earth's population is about 8 billion, and nearly two-thirds of the world's population lives in Asia, India, and China only.
The question is whether the population increases in developing countries or countries with limited resources due to ignorance and lack of awareness or for various other reasons, religious, ideological, or ethnic.
On the other hand, in contrast, some countries suffer from a shortage of population, and there are large areas and areas in the world that are empty of people with an abundance of economic resources.
There are examples of countries that need considerable economic resources with terrible population growth in Africa, such as Egypt and Ethiopia, which devoured development first and foremost. Some countries have large economies, such as China and Japan in Asia, and other developing countries, such as India. There are countries in Latin America, despite their average or low economic condition, which increase The birth rate and population, with their richness in natural resources and cheap labor force. No matter what governments do regarding economic development in these countries with the steady increase in people without an account, this matter will not help anything, so in terms of controlling the population census as a government measure with moving society to work and production, this is a quick temporary solution for countries that It suffers greatly from the terrible overpopulation.
The other long-term and continuous solution is the redistribution of the population and resettlement in areas suffering from a shortage and lack of people. This role comes through the United Nations and its specialized organizations, which do not play this role as a preemptive action and not as a reaction after disasters, instead of illegal immigration and exposure to risks that arise. The United Nations is a new organization called the World Population Redistribution Organization. It is in contact with all the governments of the world that suffer from population or labor shortages. Applications are submitted to it to choose who wants to leave their country for another place if the suffering is from poverty, natural disasters, or otherwise. There are empty continents such as Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand, Iceland, and many states in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and others. I present this proposal to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Antonio Guterres, as a permanent solution, not a temporary one.
