A seven-month-old boy stopped breathing after being left in a car for two hours.

Temperatures outside the car were close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade at the time.

It was the boy's mother who called the emergency services

An investigation was opened, but no charges were brought against the mother

A baby boy died after being left inside a hot car parked outside an Arizona mall on Saturday.

The baby, who was only seven months old, was found inside the car for about two hours when police and paramedics were called to the vehicle outside JCPenney at Superstition Springs in Mesa.

Temperatures in the shade were close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit at the time, with the heat inside the car rising rapidly the moment the car's engine and air conditioner were turned off.
