Satellite images show a new military bridge near Ukraine amid a Russian build-up
A new military pontoon bridge has been constructed over the Pripyat River in Belarus, less than four miles from the Ukrainian border, Maxar Technologies has found, as satellite imagery this week shows increased military activity in Belarus, Crimea, and western Russia.
The Biden administration told reporters yesterday evening that it now believes Russia's claims of withdrawing troops from the region near Ukraine are "false," Axios' reported.
A senior administration official said Moscow has beefed up its presence on the border with "up to 7,000 troops" recently.
