See photos of the Beaver lunar eclipse over Indiana last night
The moon was out to play Friday morning thanks to the rare near-total beaver lunar eclipse.
This was the longest such eclipse in 580 years, beginning at 1 a.m. and lasting until about 7 a.m., casting the moon a dramatic shade of copper-red and delighting stargazers the world over.
But if you missed out on the cloudy skies over central Indiana (or your early morning wake-up call), social media is here to save the day.
