A girl who Saved by Cruel Destinyِ

Saved by Cruel Destiny: A Texas mom reveals how she pulled her daughter out of class minutes before the deadly school massacre in which her child's best friend — who had been planning to sleep with her — was murdered.

A mother whose daughter attended Robb Elementary School in Texas reveals how her child narrowly avoided a mass shooting.

Mia, who asked that her last name be withheld, took her daughter Evaline to lunch before gunman Salvador Ramos stormed the school on Tuesday.

There is a lot of guilt now. My heart goes out to all the suffering families, and now we have 11 funerals to attend.

Evaline planned to sleep with her friend Leila Salazar, 10, but she was one of 19 children shot dead.

"I can't eat, and I can't think because of the massive guilt," Mia said on Saturday.

A mother revealed how she took her daughter to lunch after an awards ceremony Tuesday at Robb Elementary School moments before the Texas gunman Salvador Ramos killed 19 children and two teachers.

Mia said she feels guilty now that her daughter Evelyn's best friend was among the shot dead.

There is a lot of guilt now. My heartbroken to all the families who are suffering...and now we have 11 funerals to attend," she told the New York Post.

Evelyn was planning to sleep with her best friend, Leila Salazar, 10, on Thursday - which was supposed to be the last day of the school year.

"I can't eat; I can't think because of the sheer amount of guilt," Mia said.

Layla Salazar is Evaline's best friend killed in the shooting, while Evaline survived after her mother pulled her out of school.

Children run to safety after fleeing a window during Tuesday's mass shooting at Robb Elementary School, where Ramos killed nineteen children and two teachers.

I managed to get my daughter out, but what would have happened if we were only there five minutes later?

One of Evalyn's classmates described the terrifying moment when a shooter broke in and smeared herself with her friend's blood to trick him into believing she had been shot.

Miah Cerrillo, 11, said that her class was watching a Disney movie when her teacher received an email about an active shooter.

But unfortunately, the teacher got the notification too late, and when she went to close the door, The killer was already there and shot through the door window.

Waters said Ramos then entered the classroom in the fourth grade and looked one of the teachers in the eye, either Eva Meirelles or Irma Garcia, and told her "good night" before she was shot.

The 11-year-old said that Ramos then began shooting at the students, hitting her with bullet shrapnel on her back and neck, before turning toward the attached classroom and continuing to shoot.

Maya said Ramos started playing "sad" music that the 11-year-old could only describe as the kind of music she plays when "you want people to die."

The student said that she and her friend grabbed her teacher's phone to call 911, and because of the fear that Ramos would return to her classroom and be shot, she smeared herself with the blood of one of her dead classmates.

The 11-year-old's family said they would work to help her emotionally and mentally and her sister - who was in second grade at school - after the shooting.

Details about her horrific experience came when one of her classmates told CNN that he was forced to hide and remain silent when they heard gunfire coming from another classroom.
